People enjoy the lack of commitment that browsing books at bookstores comes with. So, Barnes and Noble wanted to compare the hobby of browsing books to something else that doesn't seem to have a lot of commitment these days, relationships.

For an in-store readlationship experience, we created special book covers that replaced the descriptions and quotes from publishing houses and other authors on the backs of books to readlationship stories that real consumers had with that particular book.
